Hi! My name is Kadynn Metzgar. I am a current animation student at Utah Tech University. I have skills in Blender, Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premier, and Audition. I love to read, listen to podcasts, and spend as much time outdoors in the mountains as I can.

I am a storyteller, loving to bring unique stories to life through my animation and my passion to connect to people and ideas. I love to learn, teach, and create art, with passions for animation, photography, and art history. I have worked in multiple people focused areas, from being a Cast Member at Walt Disney World to being a barista at Starbucks, where I am able to create magic and learn different perspectives from all around the world.

I am very passionate about art and film, and I think we can all take inspiration from artists before us, from well known artists like Claude Monet and Artemisia Gentileschi, or more contemporary artists like Milt Kahl and Banksy, while finding our own voice. I hope to inspire kids that watch animated movies, similar to movies like Beauty and the Beast or The Iron Giant inspired me growing up.

I am always excited to see how the animation industry grows and changes, and hope my voice can contribute to the many voices and stories that make films and games that inspire us all!
